I swear the owner at work is a total dork. I think I've mentioned this here before, but he insisted I sign up for the store's 401k plan in January. I aksed him the other day if I had an account yet and he said he'd check into it. Well, the dumbass didn't turn the paperwork in like the thought he did. So, my money coming out of my checks hasn't been in an account earning me anything. He claimed he'd make it right and put extra in there to make up for it once the account is open. Yeah, we'll see.

I'm feeling soooooo lazy today. I had planned on sleeping in and then attacking the day full-steam. At 6 a.m., some stupid bird decided to sit on the electric pole outside my bedroom window and jabber away. I tried to go back to sleep, but no such luck. Damn it. The only thing I've accomplished so far is loading the dishwasher.

Spring is definitely here. I've got my first insect bite on my right cheek. Dang thing is all swollen and itchy. Yay! I wonder who the culprit was. It hasn't been wet enough for mosquitos. Maybe a biting fly or some small spider.

Wondering what kind of guy I actually live with? Check out his web site. Yesterday he posted some answers to a questionnaire email he got from one of his friends. The favorite physical feature of the opposite sex answer had me laughing so hard I cried. If nothing else, he's good for comic relief.

I'm finally getting a Mac again! I am so excited. Marcus got himself a G4 on eBay from a guy that actually works at Apple in Cupertino, CA. It should arrive today or tomorrow. So, I'm getting Marcus' old iMac. Sweet! I wanted to get myself a powerbook back when I was shopping for a laptop, but I decided on a Sony Vaio since I was going to school and figured I needed a Windows machine. I hate Windows with a passion. I've loved the Mac platform since I was in college. My roommate had an Apple IIe that he used to let me type my papers on. A guy was on TechTv the other day that had an OSX tatoo on his forearm. I was thinking that if I ever did get a tatoo, I wouldn't mind having an Apple logo.

OK, Marcus and I made the best meal for dinner. I really like it when we can get together to cook. We grilled steaks, I made potato skins, Marcus grilled some corn. There is strawberry shortcake waiting for later. YUM! I wish we could spend more time together like that more often. *sigh*

I've been studying the movable type template all evening trying to figure out what is needed in my template. I'm hoping I can get that up tomorrow. That would be really cool. I do need to work in the yard, though. It was a gorgeous day today. It got into the mid-80's, according to the temperature reading on the bank sign. Wow. I just wish I hadn't had to work today. That always screws up my day.

I watched some videos on the VH1 Classic station today. I love having a satellite dish.

Well, I'm going to go have some shortcake and get back to my template.
